West and East platform refurbishment. Scope of project includes: Removal of previous platform and curbs, Installation of new curbs and new tactile plates, Installation of trench drain, Installation of subdrain & clean out drain, Installation of new manhole and connect to existing catch basin with pipes (storm sewer), Installation of new iron eagle fence, Line painting along the platform, asphalt paving, Grading. High safety required: working at night next to active track (live trains passing by), excavating next to track. Tight timelines. Working next to VIA Brantford Station Historical Building.
