Durham District School Board (DDSB)
Rutherford Contracting holds a Vendor of Record agreement with DDSB through 2026, responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance services, general repairs, system replacements, and regulatory inspections. Our structured service model ensures responsiveness, with a guaranteed two-hour response time during regular business hours and a one-hour response time for emergency situations, 24/7. This commitment underscores our dedication to maintaining safe, efficient, and operational educational environments across Durham.
Metrolinx
Under a three-year Vendor of Record contract, Rutherford Contracting executes both Exterior and Interior State of Good Repair (SOGR) works for Metrolinx facilities, as well as specialized maintenance and minor repairs. Our team manages complex tasks including utility relocations, hydro excavations, site safety, and comprehensive interior renovations covering plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, masonry, and carpentry. Each project, individually coordinated and scaled, supports Metrolinx’s critical infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and enhanced facility resilience across the transit network.
