This project was for the renovation services at the Barrie branch of Rogers Communications Canada Inc. Rutherford personnel were given security access to the building throughout the project to complete work without interrupting building operations, to perform work after hours and for the supervision of subcontractors. This project was completed in four phases to keep the building occupants within non-constructions sections of the building. Included was the demolition of the general office space throughout the front end of the building. The renovation scope of the project included new architectural, mechanical and electrical to transform the front end of the building into the new Rogers standard workplace. A new universal washroom was installed to comply with building code standards. New finishes included full wall white-boards, open work stations, new mill-work for copy rooms and existing washrooms and level 5 drywall finishes for Rogers branding. Security scope was introduced into the project to supply & install cameras at the front entrance. This work was completed with the base building security contractor.
