Marinelane Waterplay Building included the renovation and alteration of an existing Marineland gift store into a change-room for the new Splashworks. The project began with the demolition of flooring and return of existing furniture and fixture to the owners. Renovations included separate men’s and women’s washrooms as well as a universal barrier-free washroom. Change-room partitions were installed and all finishes matched the existing medieval architecture of the building and surrounding park. Rutherford worked with UCC Group Inc. to design and execute the interior renovations and coordinated all trades within the building.
