Project Description

Moose beach park, constructed on the shores of Lake Simcoe is a premier water park and playground for the residents of Orillia. The park was constructed to resemble a sunken double masted boat with a shade structure. The sunken ship also acts a a splash pad with water jets sprays from various parts of the masts and floors of the boat. Special pre-cautions were taken to minimize any potential impact that construction would have on Lake, while meeting the tight deadlines imposed by the city. This project also included custom artificial turf, rubberized play surface and lighting.
